Anoushka currently attends middle school in South Brunswick and, like her sister Trishala, is a skilled dancer. She has been learning Bharathanatyam under the able guidance of Smt. Ramya Ramnarayan for the past 7 years. She has a very vibrant personality, and she has a keen interest in understanding the mythological stories and a possesses a unique ability to comprehend the characters, emotions, which she skillfully portrays in her dances. She has also been learning Carnatic music from Jayshree Iyer for the past 3 years. Anoushka plays violin for the school orchestra and is a member of her schools Concert Choir, Student Council, and a group called REBEL which advises children on the ill-effects of cigarettes, alcohol and drugs. She volunteers at the Public library and is a member of the Youth Advisory Council as well as the Teen Special Forces which plans and conducts good educational and entertaining programs for.
